This significant book fills a significant gap. Every non-denominational school has a chaplain (3500 in all) and there are 1500 Church of Scotland chaplains alone. Scottish Education is framed by the new 'Curriculum for Excellence' (CfE) which includes a requirement for Religious Observance and Spiritual Development.
