The church of today appears to be spearheading its mission with the message of the love of God. Whilst this is a true element of the gospel, the preaching of the apostles and evangelists made the person of Jesus, and His exaltation to be Lord and Christ, the forefront and focus of their message of hope and judgment.
Whilst what Jesus did on earth is of pivotal importance for the whole of humanity, who He is and what He does in heaven now, is also of supreme importance. This short booklet brings us back to consider the fact that God has made Jesus Lord and Messiah, and it is from that position that He sends forth the Holy Spirit to bring into effect the New Covenant that God has made with His people.
