Description
God delivered the Israelites from Egypt not so that they could live in the wilderness but that they might conquer and occupy the land of Canaan, so receiving the promise that God had made to Abraham. So it is with the Church, that christians might not only be delivered from sin and spiritual bondage but might enter into all the good of the Kingdom of God, the inheritance that God has promised us in Christ.
