"and so to bed..." is the first ever bed-time routine sing along show.
The program draws on tried and tested bedtime routines from generations of parents to get children to bed, and to sleep, easily and enjoyably.
Viewers join the Ivydale Farm Yard Community of animal glove puppet characters as they end the day with treasured Christian hymns and lullabies, favourite pre-school songs, and a routine of bath time, reflecting on day time activities, story time, tucking in and sleep.
A particular feature of every "and so to bed..." episode is the 'wonder time' section which develops the thought of Psalm 33 v13-15, and the enfolding love of God.
Helen who presents the show is a singer/songwriter, Cambridge choral scholar, and mother to Godfrey (5) and Honour (2). She lives in Cambridge with her family while training for the anglican ministry at Ridley College, and writing songs for children.

CMG, is a former Bishop of Coventry (1985-97), assistant Bishop to the Bishop of Ely, honorary Fellow and chaplain at Magdalene College, Cambridge, and was a close friend of the late C.S Lewis, sharing his love of a good story well told.
