Description
Horizons beyond the natural sciences In our modern scientific era, what are we to make of the resurrected Jesus being able to suddenly appear in a room with closed doors? And when the Son of Man returns, how could He be seen at the same moment by everyone on every part of the earth—even someone in a bathyscaphe in the deepest ocean trench?
In characteristic clear style, information scientist Dr Werner Gitt explains two fascinating concepts known to science. Profound yet simple, these give us tantalising clues concerning such biblical assertions, including fulfilled prophecies. They highlight the urgency of heeding God’s invitation right now.
‘Dr Gitt’s passionate desire to help people come to faith in Christ and receive the gift of eternal life is very evident in this easy-to-read booklet. His explanation about dimensions beyond the 3-D spacetime world we live in is fascinating and helps answer questions about the many unusual and “miraculous” events recorded and prophesied in the Bible, as well as the nature of eternal life itself.’ Neville Chamberlain, electrical engineer and missionary
‘Yet another classic by Prof. Werner Gitt, who harmonises biblical accounts with scientific findings like few others. Through considering higher dimensions, I experienced several “aha” moments. The resurrection and return of Jesus became credible to me as a scientist, not just as a Christian. Reality is clearly larger than our field of vision can encompass.’
Dr Arndt Schnepper, university professor Dr Werner Gitt, PhD, served as director and professor at Germany’s Federal Institute of Physics and Technology from 1978 until 2002. He has published numerous scientific papers on research in fields such as information technology, mathematics and control engineering, and is globally known for his evangelistic speaking and writing.
