Description
This recording features the choral and organ works of Patrick Gowers, performed at Guildford Cathedral. Highlighting his major Cantata and the jubilant Veni, Sancte Spiritus, the programme showcases Gowers’ interest in plain chant, old French church melodies and jazz-influenced rhythms in a contemporary Cathedral setting.
