Description
Jamie Hitel performs Messiaen’s visionary Les Corps Glorieux and Franck’s Choral No. 1.
The programme explores Messiaen’s unique compositional approach defined by his faith and sense of mystery, the musical language of birdsong, and the effect of his condition of synaesthesia in which colours and sounds correspond with each other.
