Description
An album exploring the musical connection between Edward Elgar and Robert Walker. The programme features Elgar’s charming early motets and excerpts from The Light of Life, contrasted with Walker’s technically demanding Missa Brevis and contemporary anthems. The performances highlight both composers' unique ability to breathe new life into traditional forms within the English choral tradition. Features Walker’s choral song Dance My Heart.
