Description
Revival without reverence is not enough.
For every believer who senses that something vital has gone missing from the church, R. T. Kendall names what it is: the fear of God.
In Holy Fear, Kendall delivers one of the most urgent messages of his lifetime. Drawing on Scripture, revival history, and nearly ninety years of walking with God, he examines how the loss of holy reverence has weakened the church and hindered the work of the Spirit. He identifies eleven signs that the fear of God has departed and points toward the awakening he believes can restore it.
This long-awaited companion to Holy Fire is both a diagnosis and a call to return - not to empty religion, but to the humility, assurance, and awe that protect genuine revival.
You will discover:
- Why the charismatic movement has lost spiritual vitality and what could bring it back to life
- Eleven signs that holy fear has faded from the church
- How Romans 4 and justification by faith provide a foundation for genuine assurance
- What historic revivals reveal about the awakening still to come
This is not a rejection of the charismatic movement. It is a bold, biblical call to recover the reverence that safeguards God's work and honors His name.
