Description
Many Christians are familiar with the rhythms of Lent and the story of the cross, but they still experience the crucifixion story from a distance. This study guides you through the pivotal moments of Christ's Passion, inviting you to pause, contemplate, and prayerfully linger at the most pivotal moment in history.
Rooted in Scripture, this Lenten journey explores the powerful, often overlooked elements used against Jesus during his Passion--thorns, nails, the sign above the cross, the torn curtain, and tomb, and more. Each lesson unpacks the rich significance of these details, revealing how every element in the biblical narrative points to Jesus and his saving work. Designed to be used throughout Lent and conclude during Holy Week, Meet Him at the Cross creates space for repentance, reflection, and spiritual formation.
As you meet Jesus at the cross, you will encounter not only what he endured for us, but the love that led him there.
