Description
This 8-session Bible study examines the lives and experiences of 7 women from ancient Israel; their flaws, faith, struggles and solutions. The last session considers the description of a godly wife in Proverbs 31.
By studying the lives of these women, not only will you learn practical lessons about how to live God’s way in God’s world, but you'll be drawn nearer to God, in Jesus Christ, yourself.
Flexible and easy to use, this Good Book Guide is perfect for groups and individuals. A concise Leader’s Guide is included in the back. There are optional bonus sections if you have extra time, including icebreaker ideas.
Each session of this Bible study will draw you to…
- Look closely at the Bible text and apply it meaningfully to your everyday life
- Consider questions that open up discussion
- Ponder optional personal reflection questions
- Pray in response to what you have studied
“I love this small-group study-guide series. The guides provide practical, step-by-step guidance on working through books of the Bible, along with wonderful questions that encourage reflection and application. I hope churches and Christian ministries will take advantage of this wonderful resource.” Michael J. Kruger, President and Professor of New Testament, Reformed Theological Seminary
“Each guide in this series provides a framework for your group to dig into the text of Scripture for itself while providing enough of a steer to keep you on track, plus useful pointers towards application. The result is a great combination of fidelity to Scripture and ease of use.” - Tim Chester, Crosslands Training; Author
