Description
Do you believe Jesus is with you and cares for you, but still not feel close to him? When you talk with God in prayer, does it feel one-sided?
If following the advice to “just read your Bible and pray” isn’t helping you to feel close to God, this book is for you. These realistic ideas, rooted in age-old practices, will help you experience true, deep communion with your Lord and Saviour as you walk through everyday life with him.
In A Closer Walk with God, Tim Chester thoughtfully describes different ways to connect with Jesus. You’ll be invited to…
- Explore a wide variety of biblical postures and traditional practices for drawing close to Christ
- Expand your understanding of what it is to be with God—without just following another checklist
- Experience closeness with Christ as you try out the tools in each chapter
Tim Chester explains, “I don’t want you to read it as a list of requirements. It’s an invitation to go deeper with God.” This isn’t just another book on prayer; it is a resource designed to help you enjoy your relationship with God more deeply.
