Description
One of the primary ways God has chosen to reveal his power and love is through creation. Yet as packed schedules and passive screentime take over our kids' attention, they are less and less likely to spend meaningful time outside experiencing creation firsthand.
Written by a certified master naturalist, popular podcaster, and mother of four, Made to Marvel gets families outside together so they can encounter God's goodness in the world he created. With a special emphasis on observation, you'll practice noticing the intricate details of God's handiwork every time you step outside. As kids learn to see evidence for God in the natural world, they will
· learn real science and nature lessons through relevant and memorable visuals
· fuel or reignite their God-given sense of wonder
· strengthen their faith through seeing God's fingerprints in nature
· develop a desire to spend time in God's creation
If you're a homeschooler looking for a way to integrate science and faith in your kids' lessons, this book is for you. If you're an outdoorsy parent to an indoorsy child (or vice versa), this book is for you. If you simply want to develop your child's sense of wonder and encourage them to explore, this book is for you. Made to Marvel is the family devotional you didn't know you needed.
