Description
When Jason Murfitt was a young tree surgeon, he was confronted by his boss who was curious about Jason's confidence in the Bible and his desire to risk everything to go and tell the Amazonian river-people in Brazil about his encounter with God, and how they, too, could enjoy the hope of glory.
Join Jason as he looks back at ten diverse men and women whose encounters with God also changed their lives, in time, and for eternity. Christian fathers like Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, John Bunyan, and Jonathan Edwards, who sought answers to the most-asked questions. Then there's Little Richard who left behind a life of drugs and partying to become a preacher. Francis Chan, whose tragic life became overwhelmed with joy. A former teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle who became a pastor and world-renowned podcaster. A humble couple of jungle-dwellers who remind us of the simplicity of real church-life. And Joni, a paraplegic for almost sixty years, whose Christian walk will leave you hungry for Heaven.
As Jason weaves between their testimonies, he seeks to present answers to many of the most commonly asked "how" and "why" questions of the Christian faith. And if you already know Christ, this book will equip and excite you to go and find others to give them the reason for your hope of glory.
