Description
With 2025 marking the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed, this book addresses perennial questions about the relationship between evangelicals and Roman Catholics by focusing on the question: ‘Is confessing the Nicene Creed a sufficient basis for Christian unity?’ Each of the eleven chapters addresses a different point of the Creed— demonstrating how Catholic and Protestant understandings of the Creed differ in significant ways, explaining how the Creed should be understood (and confessed) from a biblical perspective, and suggesting ways forward for evangelicals in their relationships with Roman Catholic friends.
