The Bible and Christianity universally have closely associated gender with physical sex. A recent movement, sometimes called simply “transgenderism,” aggressively rejects this association and advocates for not two but a multitude of sexes and genders, with no expectation of a relationship between the body and the person. The consequences of this, besides the further sexualization of society, includes dramatic harm done in the form of medical treatments for children and an increasing marginalization of Christian morals and those who hold them. That transgenderism has so rapidly become mainstream ideology is an indication of a poverty of moral education and faith foundation in American society.This book aims to help Christians respond to this movement with Bible—and faith-based integrity and firm knowledge of Christ’s call to all sinners to repentance and new life.
