Christine Sawyer loves running her antique mall and finding vintage treasures in her small town in North Carolina. She also takes her job as doting aunt very seriously when it comes to her two nieces even though shes always been the “nerdy one,” forever compared to her homecoming queen fraternal twin sister, Britney. But when the landlord of her store raises rent, Christine is faced with the reality that she might lose her beloved business.
Brent Nicholson, a former football star and Britneys high school sweetheart, reluctantly finds himself coming back to his hometown to help his aging great-aunt ready her home to put on the market. His goal is to stay under the radar, leave as soon as possible, and avoid all questions about the knee injury that cost him his scholarship and bright future as a star.
