This book is not designed to be read through at one sitting, but to be read reflectively and prayerfully. Each short passage is the outcome of one morning's prayerful Bible study. My hope is that you, the reader, will want to read for yourself the complete Bible passage from which each extract is taken, and allow God to speak to you personally. All he desires is an open mind and an open heart to receive his wonderful Word.
About the Author:
Sheila Giffard Smith, a retired teacher (mostly of children with special needs), has been a regular reader of the Bible for most of her adult life. Sometimes when particularly moved, she wrote down her thoughts. She still finds it helpful to re-read the notes from time to time and believes that there is much in them to be shared with other people. Her dearest wish is that others might find them helpful too.
