Max Lucado is a popular author whose writings are immediately appealing to almost anyone as he has a natural anecdotal style. This book traces Jesus’ journey during the last week of his life. Every one of the 27 short chapters concentrates on a single incident or saying of Jesus, and the author draws challenging lessons from each one.
There are many practical everyday examples of the lessons that are being highlighted, which makes the book easy to read and understand. There is a very useful section of study and discussion questions at the end, some of them extremely challenging, which would be ideal for either group or individual use. Being Biblically based, this would be a good book to give as a gift to anyone interested in Christianity too.
