Description
The ongoing numeric decline in the Church of England and the consequential inevitable closure of many churches suggests that in the decade ahead there will be a significant need to revitalise churches and to plant new churches. This book explores the methods of training the next generation of church leaders, particularly those who will start new churches. Creatively drawing on an exploration of the historic practices of English medieval craft guilds-specifically their master-apprentice training, guild communities, and creativity- this book will be a vital resource to inform the methods of training for the next generation of church planters in the Church of England.
